This weeks theme is ON THE SHELF.  You can tell I’m the mother of small children because all the ideas I had were Elf related. This cross was a gift from my sister after we bought our first home… three homes later it is still one of the first things I had to have hung up.

This weeks theme is WARMTH.  It’s been a pretty mild winter so far, but we did enjoy our first snowfall last weekend.  And what could be better after playing outside in the snow?  A steaming cup of hot cocoa.  Yum!

52 on Friday: Week 3 | Baltimore, MD Photographer

The theme for this week’s Project 52 photo is: WORDS.  I knew instantly what I wanted to do, I just had to wait for the right time to do it.  I have seen this technique done several places before but had never attempted it myself.  I’m quite proud that it only took me 5 tries to be satisfied with the end product! For those of you wondering how it was done, I used a tripod and a flashlight in a pitch black room with a long exposure.  Pretty nifty, huh?

This week my little family got some big news!  I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and we had our Level II ultrasound this past Thursday.  The baby is growing perfectly and weighs approximately 9 ounces right now.  We also found out that in June our crew will be welcoming our third baby
