You may remember this handsome little guy from his newborn session or his 6 month session last year… and here he is ONE YEAR OLD!  I know I touched on this in my last blog post about capturing my own sons first-year milestones, but posts like this are why I love my job so much.  As wonderful as it is to watch my own children grow, I just love that I get to witness it over and over again with my clients.

My baby graduated from infancy to toddler-hood today.  Though someone should have told him because he’s been walking around like a big boy for a few weeks now!

Here is his first official photo as a 1 year old!  Taken shortly after 2 am on March 9, 2011.  He was born at 1:59 am but Mama missed her alarm this year!

What a fun-filled year it has been for us!  He has grown so quickly, it seems like I blinked for one second and all the sudden my helpless little infant was suddenly this HUGE walking/talking/laughing big boy!  Looking back at his photos I’m SO glad I was able to capture all of his milestones this past year. From being able to hold his head up on his own, to sitting unassisted and then pulling up to stand!

This year Carson had a joint birthday party with his big brother.  The theme was Curious George and both boys had a wonderful time and Carson quickly became a fan of CAKE!!

I cannot believe that my baby is now 9 months old!   At 9 months old he can crawl a lightening speed, pull up on anything and every thing and cruise furniture like it’s his job.  He’s even starting to let go and stand on his own! His favorite food is oatmeal mixed with fruit but he will try just about anything, especially if it’s on my plate!  He has 4 and a half teeth and still loves his paci.  He is always happy and smiling and hardly ever cries.  He is such a joy in our lives.
