My first born had a birthday this week.  Even with only 5 candles illuminating his face, he still shines as bright as the sun.  I love you, JP!

My biggest boy turns 5 years old in less than a week.  I spent this entire week trying to think of a way to show the passing of these 5 years with him and came up with nothing! I feel like such a failure! Before I knew it,  it was late Thursday afternoon and I found myself OUT OF TIME for this weeks project!  This was just about the exact minute I copped out and shot this to share with you.  I will do better next week, I promise!

This weeks theme is ON THE SHELF.  You can tell I’m the mother of small children because all the ideas I had were Elf related. This cross was a gift from my sister after we bought our first home… three homes later it is still one of the first things I had to have hung up.
